Akber Depok Travel Writing
This travel writer class presented by Fira Abdurrahman and Akademi Berbagi (Akber) Depok. I make somepoints for you guys. Here it is :
• The most important points for travel writing are something to do, something to see, and something to buy.
• Use 5 W + 1 H to breakdown your idea and write your experience. This consept showing how clever you are!
• Each people has their own style for writing. Descriptive, Narative, Pointers, Comparative or Alay style is ok. No matter your style, you must give your reader all information that u get.
• Travel writing catagory :
1. Travel Story : place, attraction, journey, local things, theme park.
2. Food Story : recipes, food, drink.
3. Tips : how to get there
4. Review : hotel, flight, airport, restaurant.
• Photo : let’s photos speak u’r feelling. 4 type of photos are landscape,people,culinary, and moment.
• Be creative because you are not elementary student !
• First sentence must be eye catching
• U’r essai only 3 times scroll in windows.
• Don’t be selfish, sometimes your ego makes your essai like a novel. But the readers doesn’t need it. What they want to read only in first point.
• Playing with words. Sometimes when you eat something, you only say “it’s really yummy”. Don’t do that. U should explore what is your perception about “yummy”. U can tell beacuse this cake contain many chocolate with strawberry fla and ice cream. Breakdown your idea men!!
• Design blog : Don’t be narcistic. You are not an artist. If you are not handsome, prety,fabolous, PLEASE don’t give too much space for your photo. It’s annoying. Hahaaa
Oke this is my first review about Akber Depok. I’m falling in love with this community.
